Omics And Computational Biology
This program brings together research groups specialized in genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, proteomics, metabolomics, structural biology, bioinformatics, data science, and artificial intelligence. Its approach is methodological and cross-cutting, with applications in diagnosis, pathophysiology, and biomarker identification.
Objective:
To develop and implement advanced omics and multi-omics analysis tools, as well as computational modeling approaches, aimed at accelerating knowledge of rare diseases, improving their diagnosis, and facilitating the identification of therapeutic targets. The program promotes multidisciplinary collaboration among groups, ensuring that technological advances benefit multiple research lines within CIBERER.
