ATTR-CM- RESEARCH COMPETITIVE GRANT PROGRAM FOR JUNIOR INVESTIGATORS 2020

Convocatoria para la financiación de un máximo de cinco proyectos de investigación, básica o clínica, sobre la comprensión, diagnóstico y tratamiento de la Amiloidosis cardiaca por transtiretina (Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy - ATTR-CM). Específicamente, los proyectos a financiar deberán estar enfocados a alguna de las siguientes áreas:

Epidemiologic evaluations for ATTR-CM.

• Approaches for the early identification and follow up of ATTR-CM patients.
• RW efficacy and safety of tafamidis in the clinical setting for the management of ATTR-CM.
• Evaluation of patients with ATTR-CM presenting with a mixed phenotype.
• Mechanistic studies to advance the basic science of amyloid formation and deposition on the heart and including studies of the Functional role of TTR o Long term impact of TTR knockdown.
• Characteristics of ATTR-CM in post-organ transplant patients, including natural course of disease progression
• European country specific early access program data collection.

Cuantía: Máximo 75.000$USD/año.

Convocatoria para la financiación de proyectos de investigación, básica o clínica, sobre la comprensión, diagnóstico y tratamiento de la Polineuropatía amiloidótica por transtiretina (Transthyretin Amyloid Polyneuropathy (ATTR-PN)). Específicamente, los proyectos a financiar deberán estar enfocados a alguna de las siguientes áreas:

Epidemiologic evaluations for ATTR-PN.

Approaches for the early diagnosis of ATTR-PN patients.

Evaluation of patients with ATTR-PN presenting with a mixed phenotype.

Real world efficacy and safety of tafamidis in the clinical setting for the management of ATTR-PN.

Cuantía: Máximo 75.000$USD/año.
